Waxed cotton was initially created for the Tea Clippers in the 15th century when sailors had to fight natural elements on the high seas. Re-designed in the British Highlands for the country sport of sailing, this luxury material has been part of the British lifestyle for generations. 

With a tighter weaving and a higher density of wool, the blanket is made to last.
